National Action Plans

Danube – Black Sea Canal

By signing the ministerial conclusions on effective waterway infrastructure rehabilitation and maintenance on the Danube and its navigable tributaries (Brussels, 3.12.2014) Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova and Ukraine agreed on establishing national action plans, which identify individual actions, responsibilities, funding resources and intermediate milestones for the implementation of measures identified by the Fairway Rehabilitation and Maintenance Master Plan.
The first version of these national action plans – which constitute the operational planning tools for the implementation of the Master Plan – has to be communicated to the relevant coordinating bodies by 30th June 2015.
This Activity will take up this first version and develop it further. Parallel pilots will be defined in line with the national action plans.
Regular updates of the national action plans will reflect the results of pilot operations as well as of other related activities and projects.
