In Bulgaria – Delivery of new surveying vessel and marking vessel ongoing production process


New surveying vessel joined the Danube fleet. The Bulgarian stretch of the river will be surveyed by the new vessel. It was delivered under the FAIRway Danube project, co-funded by the CEF, sector transport. Contract was signed on 04.07.2017 amounting of 495 756 €. Constructor is MTG-Dolphin from Varna. Vessel was delivered in Ruse on 30.01.2018. Testing period is just done. Danube waves are waiting the new vessel, to catch the riverbed morphology, by using multi-beam sensor.

A new marking vessel is under construction in MTG Dolphin shipyard in Varna. The contract was signed on 23.08.2017, amounting of about 3,15 M Euro. Delivery dead line is 18.08.2018 and the vessel will serve for marking of the fairway in the Bulgarian stretch of the river and will contribute to faster response concerning fairway change.  The building process was inspected in March by the Bulgarian minister of regional development and public works, together with APPD representants.
